weekender
friday was a good day. i know its a bit in the future to be saying that now. but it was. because i'm still a bit new at work, i keep making mistakes. it happens a lot when i'm tired, like at the end of the week. anyway, this gets me a bit down because it knackers my confidence. but friday, i did an installation which built a bit of confidence back up. things went a bit wrong a few times but i fixed them. the customer wanted a few bits of software sorted out that i'd never seen before, but still got working. it was all good.
been at The Princess' yard over the weekend. had a meal out yesterday, which was nice. went to the cherry tree again. i had a beef lasagne and a caramel & apple thing, she had a beef, mushroom & ale pie followed by a cherry crumble thing. for dessert we had sex, which is also what we had for breakfast this morning. and my god its good.
during the day yesterday i did naff all. i like to think thats the best thing to do on a saturday. actually, i didn't quite do naff all, i DID play champ for a bit. maybe a lot of hours. but its so addictive.
i wouldn't normally do so little, but i've had a free house all weekend. sister still in san francisco (its nice & quiet), parental units 1 & 2 gone away for a few days. just me & the cats. and they tend to keep themselves to themselves anyway, except when they want food.
well. thats it for this evening. not much thought has gone into it again, i keep trying but failing. until tomorrow, here is some music to think about:

i was helping Younger Brother Princess yesterday do some computer stuff and kept singing this because it was in my head. he now can't get it out of HIS head.

watched the live at donington dvd, its brilliant.
