unwelcome break, sweepstake, places i been
i'm all hot and sweaty and its not my fault. me and t:b:b: did our usual thing of walking up to welcome break, the local service station (god dammit we're cool), where we ate the lame shit they call food, looked in the shop, and played in the arcade.
we were just walking home, got about 2 3rds of the way, when he reached to his pockets. "where's my keys? where's my wallet? shit." he ran back up there, i had to run back to his yard to turn the water off the plants before joining him. got the car as well and drove up there to find him, couldn't face running. luckily he found the keys and wallet. dozy arse takes them out of his pockets and puts them on the machines while he plays. i whooped his ass on the new game anyway, its a driving one. he had a mitsubishi evo viii, i had an impreza. then i raced him in an evo and still beat him haha.
when i got back i booked the Alton Towers tickets because i haven't done it yet. we're going baby yeah, 9th July. thats a friday.
at work today its been about euro 2004 sweepstakes. d has been given a competition thing from his local, �2 to enter with �1 from each entry going to a local junior football club and �1 going into the prize fund. all you gots to do is predict the scores of all the group games. 3 points for the correct score, 1 for the correct result. on top of that, he said that the 4 of us from our company who entered should whack �10 each on who is going to do best out of us. thats a bit unfair on me, as the other 3 entrants are one of the bosses, the bosses' dad, and my superior. hope i beat them.
there's been an explosion in Cologne this evening. i went to Cologne in march and thought it was a nice city. bit strange to be reading it on the news, i don't know why but i tend to take an interest in things that happen in places i've been to such as Cologne or Budapest (that was last summer, very nice there i must say) or in places i know quite well, like norf london. why is that? i dont know.
