birthdays, ntl broadband, and that bloody cat
word up party people. just got back from a staff night out. started with drinkies in a local pub, then had a meal in a restaurant across the road. i had such a good time, it was right laff. i had a card (which i forgot and left in the restaurant) from everyone! we got into the restaurant, and one table had some balloons - that was us! and then at the end of the night, they shared everything out cost-wise between 8 even though there were 9 of us. i pointed out this error, to be told "shut up. you're not paying for yours. be quiet." i DID buy a round in the pub though, so i'm not stingy like other people. which is strange as i'm the poorest in the company on the lowest wage. really had a good time though. must nip into the restaurant if i'm in town tomorrow to see if they have my card.
i think my biggest achievement is not being the most plastered person there. i had enough drink to have a good time, but not so much that tomorrow i'll be in bed groaning. that will come in the evening, eh Inkysoso ;o)
moving on. i dont know if i can submit any of this as my interweb is being a shit this evening, as it was a few nights ago. i've got 600k buhroadband from ntl, and its brilliant when it works. but when it doesnt its shit. same with any technology, such as wireless networks: they either work really well or sometimes work when they want and are shit. i do not have wireless, i use ethernet (cat5 cable) between 2 pcs and a linksys box in the middle. it works.
my current album i am listening to. yoshimi battles the pink robots by the flaming lips. its really good, standout tracks are fight test, yoshimi battles the pink robots (part 1), and do you realize??. note useage of question marks. i DID notice that none of those songs have a key change. the key change is an important part of any song that makes it successful - hell, its kept westloife going all these years. each song has more key changes than singers and that children is a good average.
every night i am kept awake by a cat outside my window "wow. wow. WOW." ing. i think its calling my cats to come and play. or saying "come get some, bitches" even though they've had their little girl cat operations. its a pain in the arse, i'm trying to get me some sleep and this cat is going "come on girls. come get some ;o)" outside my window. maybe not the ;o) bit but i'm sure you understand.
can't write any more tonight, firstly mother has called me "a pain in the arse" for running around the house at this ungodly hour (trying to fix fucking interweb), secondly because i'm tired, and thirdly because i don't know what to say.
