7:21 pm - 22 June 2004 above is a picture doing the rounds on the interweb that made me laff. it depicts Wayne Rooney after he scored his first against switzerland on thursday, but has clearly been edited to show a common stereotype that people from Liverpool are thieves. the liverpool fc fans didn't do it any favours in a game away to west 'am a few years back. there was a player at west ham called Paolo Di Canio from italy. the scousers chanted "you've got di canio, we've got you're car stereo." it wasn't until after the match that west ham's fans got back to their cars to find all the stereos had been nicked. i've got a poster that i got up there a few years back for the Liverpool Millenium Pub Crawl. across the top it says "Liverpool is the pool of life... but when did you last see your hubcaps?" thats right, they don't just thieve stereos, they take the hubcaps as well. there are rumours that the vauxhall factory in nearby ellesmere port builds cars but leaves out the stereos and hubcaps to save time, but this has never been confirmed. right. i'm off to watch Terminator 3 now, i got the triology (mispronunciation copyright Inkers i think) for my birthday last week and i've had too much on to watch any of it yet, what with the football and liverpool and that. bye bye everybody, bye bye. Treeson. made in England, circa 1983
