viruses and worthless dole scum
i love the school holidays. the roads are unbelieveably clear at 8:30am every weekday, without those women driving little johnny 300 yards to school in a fuckingreatrucken 4x4 jeep thing. there is one particular road which is usually queued back about a mile. today? nothing. schools broke up friday. top of the banana.
before i left work i reminded my bosses that they were going to sort me out a contract last week but didnt. they gave me the contract there & then along with a pay rise, with another pay review every december. wooyay. i'm now earning as much as i did at the old place, but with 10x as much job satisfaction and enjoyment.
one thing i DON'T like is viruses. i dislike them more than people who are dumb enough to get them because said dumb people (my customers) then phone tech support at our place, ie me & D, for help. i can honestly say that at least HALF of the calls we get or the repairs we get in are virus related. the bosses like the virus repairs because they're easy to fix (really they are, especially for professionals like us. me & D have a 100% virus removal success rate.) and are chargeable. but we dislike them because they are self-inflicted. every PC that leaves our place has anti-virus software completely up to date, all the customers have to do is keep it up to date. but no, six months down the line and the definitions are out of date and they're virus infested. then they bring in their pcs and say "oh, i need it back tomorrow because i've got the accountant coming round." tough shit, it takes as long as it takes and if you'd been a bit wary you wouldn't be in this situation.
what i DO like more than anything is Inkers. its nearly her birthday and i got her a nice suitable card and nice presents but i still need to get me some more presents for her.
off to watch me some League of Gentlemen now. for those of you who don't know what it is, it is NOT a crap film with sean connery, its in fact the most politically incorrect and just plain WRONG programme this country has produced. i say this country, because South Park is a bit worse.
