well, it may have taken 5 months but i have finally had a full night of uninterrupted sleep. WOO!
also. yesterday a good thing happened. i excorcised some demons. i didn't have much choice in the matter, really.
Boss P: great news, we've booked you into another job you're gonna love. remember that time you lost 9 months work for a customer?
Treeson: f*ck off, i'm not going
Boss P: don't be a girl. its ok, we've told them you're going
Treeson: f*ck off, boss, i'm not. i can't.
Second In Command S: don't worry, i told them it would be you. i told them that we knew about the problems last time and would it be ok, and the exact wording was "i'm sure he'll be fine, he'll click a few buttons and weave his magic. its water under the bridge now, i don't have a problem with him coming. but if he touches my data i'll hang him."
so i went. did the job. and the boss there said "better result this time, eh? and i bet you won't ever make the same mistake again, will you"
back. of. the. net. not only did i do the job, they think i'm brilliant.
in 48hrs i'll be on a plane to the south of france to spend a week with my darling boys. here is my luggage:
