uni, work, roadworks, and GARLIC BREAD?
hello there children! how's we doing? The Tree is coping with life.

sister tree has gone to uni now. southampton institute in fact. she belongs in a friggin' institute, hehe. her going there means one thing to me: peace & quiet & a reduction in abuse. by the time she gets out i should've moved out - its three years away, i'll be proper pissed off if i still live with the parental units.

friday & monday i was out of the office all day which was sweet as a nut mate. moday involved sitting on a train for 2hrs to get to bond street to install 2 dvd-rom drives (40mins). then wandering aimlessly around the adjacent oxford street to find lunch, before settling on the engineers' favourite of mcdonalds at liverpool street station. friday, me & Inkysoso drove to bromley for me to install a pc & printer (40mins). easy life, eh. i could get used to this on-site engineer lark.

whats going on with the M11? every 6 months they do roadworks on the same f***ing stretch (just after 'arlow to the m25) - surely if the job had been done proper the first time it would remove the need for continual redoage? there was such a backlog onto the m25 on friday on my way back from bromley that i took a different route (ably assisted by TomTom) that went via epping and other country roads. three more bastard sets of roadworks. what the jiggins is going on, highways agency? is it some kind of sick joke to annoy people? bastards.

yesterday i took delivery of the latest Peter Kay dvd, "That Peter Kay Thing" which was his first televisual masterpiece. i got it off his website, came out monday, and it only cost me an extra 5 to get it signed. how good is that? his humour probably wouldn't appeal to americans because its mostly observations on british life, like if you cut your arm as a child & show your parents, your dad wants to get his saw and cut it off at the elbow. my pa still does it and i'm 21. here's a few words of his that people who know him (such as Inkysoso):

  • GARLIC BREAD?
  • CHEESE... CAKE?
  • IT'S SPITTIN'!
to those who haven't seen him you won't understand so don't try.

got to go work now. laters people yah
